Progressive rock, metal with a slight pop flavour are entwined into melodies that become a match made in Heaven. Heartache’s new album Skyscrapers And Firefalls is the bridge between the milestone prog and rock of the 70’s and the heavy rock of this fast moving decade.
Born during the school years, from the minds of friends that showed musical affinity and great passion, Heartache began to lay the foundation of what would become a signature for the band: creating original, innovative music, processed with care in every detail. After some important line-up changes, the embryo finally transformed into what it is today. Heartache have already cut their musical teeth with the release of the EP, Apophis and Dec 2nd 2016 sees their first full album Skyscrapers And Firefalls released on Sliptrick Records.
Skyscrapers And Firefalls is a concept album that sees a man, an emblem of his time, living in the trap of social isolation and technology’s non-reality. Every track points to the subject of the appearances and deception of human relationship in a true spiritual voyage that will take its protagonist to the awareness and detachment needed to escape from the world to find contact with the “real” reality surrounding him.
