Description

Lost Souls, the new album from Bangkok Dollars, is a ride through the rock music itself. It has roaring hard rock screams and riffs just like their first album, but also a lot of elements from traditional heavy metal, grunge and the progressive rock scene. You can hear the different backgrounds and influences of the band, blended with good taste and sounding as smooth as a first sip of a fine whiskey.

The album has various layers from the heavier and darker stories of Only Devil Knows, all the way to old school hard rock that can be found on the tracks Lost Souls and Heat Of The Night, and even some bluesy stuff in the song Wild Ride! You can also find progressive rock vibes on the album on Stout and the opening track Free which leads you through the grunge sound. Lost Souls combines all these sonic worlds in one solid hard rocking album.

The album was recorded in 2020 in Helsinki and Tampere, Finland. The songwriting process started immediately after the release of the band’s debut album Roses n’ Ravens in 2019. The recording process, after several demo sessions, started in spring 2020 in Bangkok Dollars own studio in Helsinki.
